Dancing Grid
for Liberal Office & Younhyun    2023

Younhyun's exhibition - 'Dancing Grid'
Collaboration ceramic tile project of Liberal Office & Younhyun Trading

Younhyun Gallery, in collaboration with designers from Liberal Office, presents a witty space that interprets the grid system as an architectural element. The interpreted grid design proposes a new paradigm of creation, breaking free from the confines of a grid-like structure. Four designers from Liberal Office - Lee Youngbin, Yang Daye, Cho Youngjin, and Lee Donghyun - participate in the exhibition, each offering their own interpretation of the grid by incorporating it into partitions, shelves, and kitchen countertops.

This wall shelf design utilizes six different tiles in a flat space with 3D printed kitchen accessory modules.
The various tiles are composed with balance on the wall panel.
We focused on the sense of visual balance that comes from the proportionality between visual elements such as points, lines, and planes.
